
The Mediaverse, a Melbourne based media analytics company, approached Coordinate to provide their brand with a complete overhaul.
The Mediaverse did not just want a new identity, but rather a total brand eco – system which could consistently carry their vision, values, and promise across every communication touch point. The Coordinate design team led by Danielle Tomas approached every possible discipline including their brand mark and website to their monthly client reports. The goal was to create a brand that would reflect their unique personality and leading position in their industry. Key personality traits to be communicated through the brand were authenticity, approachability, passion, youth and FUN! For a company that deals with numbers, graphs and complicated data, this was a great surprise and a fun challenge. We worked closely with their founder and management team to understand their humble beginnings and competitive strengths. The final result was innovative, bold, vibrant, and most importantly… fun.
The graphic element was designed and inspired by the traditional column graph, with sound bars captured from a recording device, and colours from the original tv test pattern. These elements combined represent the 'media universe'. To compliment the symbol a modern typeface was designed using round edges, and lowercase forms to reflect the friendly and approachable nature of the company.
In addition to the unique graphic and diverse colour palette, a series of textured elements were introduced across their printed reports and corporate collateral. All the elements combined create a multi dimensional brand which can grow and evolve with this dynamic company.
