CBR BRAVE 2015

Bigger, better, braver.

After a fairly tale inaugural season which saw the CBR BRAVE rise from the ashes of the Canberra Knights to finish in third position of the Australian Ice Hockey League. Coordinate needed a fresh campaign to kick start the 2015 season.

The result – Bigger. Better. Braver.

Coordinate created the narrative of Bigger. Better. Braver to set the expectation for the season for the talented group of ice hockey fans, the parochial fans and the wider ice hockey community, and distributed the theme across a range of marketing touch points. A launch video was created by the internal video production team and a short form version was created for television. The campaign was also applied to radio, press, email marketing and social media.

The promise of bigger, better and braver was reinforced through the creation of professional new merchandise for players off ice apparel and fan merchandise.

CBR BRAVE management including Coordinate Directors Jamie Wilson and Warren Apps and Operations Manager Briege Wilson recruited additional players to boost the roster including Australian players David Dunwoodie and Tomas Manco and emerging star Tyler Kubara, all previously from Sydney. A host of imports were also recruited from America and Canada.

New sponsorship deals were secured with major sponsors CIT, sleeve partner Anytime Fitness and a host of player, game day, media and community partnership activations, keeping the profile of the CBR BRAVE active in the community.
