Full time role, Canberra-based (with flexible working arrangements), $70,000 – $90,000 plus super.
Coordinate is a creative agency in Canberra on the edge of something pretty exciting. We want to recruit an aspiring leader in communications to deliver strategy, content and advice to our brilliant clients.
The ideal person for this role will be curious, a natural communicator, a digital native – someone who wants to gain more experience in strategy, and is enthusiastic in everything they do. The job requires a highly organised person who likes to get stuck in and get the job done.
You will be joining a great team, too, so someone who is equally passionate about work and connection will thrive. We’re looking for the type of person who would join our morning coffee dash, sit down together for lunch, have a chat in the stairwell, or text a colleague on their birthday.
Your responsibilities are likely to include:
- Liaison with clients from a range of sectors and industries across Australia, from government to NFPs and the private sector.
- Supporting the planning, development and implementation of communication, social media and content strategies.
- Designing and managing social media and content schedules.
- Writing kick-arse content for web, digital, print and media channels.
- Showing off your briefing, editing, and proofreading skills to provide a quality control check for all communication material (internal and external).
- Project management, including time management, budgeting, and reporting.
- Supporting and mentoring other team members to be the best they can be.
- Building strong and productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes.
- Effectively managing client relationships and liaising with key contacts to ensure all deliverables are met.
To apply, please submit a cover letter to ideas@coordinate.com.au (no more than two pages) showing examples of the following before 11pm 30 April 2023:
- Demonstrated experience (ideally three to five years) in digital communications, particularly in web and social media content.
- Good communication with a willingness to ask questions to learn.
- Strong relationship management skills and the ability to explain complex things to people who may not understand them.
- An interest in why something is successful, and an example of where you’ve applied those learnings.
- A hunger for finding better ways to do your work.
- Experience in a client management role is also highly desirable.
This role also provides opportunities to extend your own network and achieve growth into various areas of the business, such as graphic design, video production, creative, digital, and client services.
