Share the Care this National Carers Week

This week is National Carers Week, and to mark it Carers ACT launched a new website alongside their Share the Care campaign, developed in partnership with Coordinate.

Coordinate was first brought on board to develop a campaign to celebrate Carers ACT’s 30th anniversary in 2022. We landed on the message ‘Share the care’ to encourage access to the range of support on offer for carers, including respite, social connection and service coordination.

As a result of this preliminary work to develop the campaign, and our passion to support local causes we care about, Coordinate was able to work with Carers ACT to refresh their branding and develop a new website too. This way help-seekers visiting their website and signing up for support would have the best, most accessible experience possible.

There are over 50,000 unpaid carers in the ACT, and more than 2 million nationally, and many may not realise they qualify for support. Carers Week is a chance to reflect on our own caring responsibilities, or to recognise those caring around us, and to connect with support where it’s needed.

We are proud to play a part in making Canberra a city that cares for carers, and thank and celebrate all Australian carers for their tireless work to make our communities great.
