The United Arab Emirates and Australia form an integral and comprehensive relationship that spans the vast Indian Ocean. The UAE is Australia’s largest middle eastern trading partner and 2017 is the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two great nations. Despite this, the UAE has a perception challenge in Australia and globally.
To address this perception challenge, we partnered with the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates to deliver a comprehensive public diplomacy program to build a deeper awareness of the UAE and its role in global affairs. The program was designed to educate Australians and dismiss the misconceptions surrounding the UAE while promoting positive bi-lateral dialogue and engagement.
