Coordinate

We accept material for printing and/or publication on the basis that those submitting the material do not infringe copyright or any other third party rights, and that those instructing Coordinate indemnify Coordinate accordingly.

All ideas, designs, concepts, artwork, compositions, symbols, logos or other trade indicia prepared or developed by Coordinate shall be the absolute property of Coordinate and the client shall not use such material in any media outside the outlined quotation and until full payment is made by the client to Coordinate.

Copyright of all graphic design material for the project will be transferred from Coordinate to the client once full payment has been received. Coordinate shall retain all intellectual property rights for all programming and source code which may be produced during the project. Coordinate retains the rights to use the completed project and any preliminary designs for the purpose of design competitions, future publications on design, educational purposes and for portfolio purposes, or for the marketing of Coordinate.

Any revisions (alterations) beyond supplied brief and text will incur an additional fee charged at a rate of $140.00 per hour (plus GST). Coordinate will provide our Client’s (the client) with a quotation and seek approval before proceeding with any work that will incur additional charges.

This quotation excludes any outside costs incurred (for example: travel, photography, stock imagery, delivery and couriers). Any services which have not been included in the quotation, do not form part of this job. Coordinate will notify the client of any additional costs.

Where Coordinate is instructed by the client to undertake any work, and the project is canceled at any stage of production, the customer shall be liable and billed for the total cost of the project.

Quotes are valid for seven (7) days unless otherwise stated. A 40% deposit invoice will be supplied to the client and must be paid before work is commenced unless agreed otherwise. A final invoice will be supplied to the client on completion of the project, and must be paid within seven (7) days of invoicing.

Media quotes are valid for seven (7) days unless otherwise stated. All Media Schedules are provided to the client for acceptance and a 10% service fee will be added to the invoice unless otherwise agreed. Upon booking a media schedule including print, television, radio, or online, Coordinate will invoice the total amount to the client, plus 10% service fee. Payment terms are strictly seven (7) days from invoicing.

Final copy, layouts, scripts, advertisements, storyboards, designs and any other services performed by Coordinate is sent to the Client for final approval. The Client shall check it carefully and notify Coordinate of any errors or alterations, Coordinate will use its reasonable endeavours to correct any changes so notified, but Coordinate reserves the right to charge extra if any of these alterations either go beyond the original supplied brief. It is agreed that Coordinate is not responsible or held liable for any errors contained in the final product after it has been approved and committed to print or posted in view of the public.

Coordinate will not be liable in respect of errors which may occur after the handover of artwork where the Client oversees the print and production process.
